Privacy Policy
MKB Digital ("we", "us", or "our") operates Odakla, a focus and productivity application. This Privacy Policy explains what information Odakla processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Odakla, we may process:
- Email address and authentication information when you create an account.
- Information provided through Google or Apple Sign In.
- Your Odakla ID and display name.
- Focus statistics and activity associated with social features.
- Friend requests, focus room presence, and co-op session information.
- Advertising consent information when ads are enabled.
We do not operate a separate third-party product analytics or crash-reporting service.
Information Stored on Your Device
Odakla stores certain information locally on your device, including:
- Tasks
- App settings and language preferences
- Focus history and statistics
- Streaks and badges
- Custom focus presets
- Focus area preferences
- Social preferences and usage information
This information is used to provide core app functionality and improve your experience.
Authentication
Odakla uses Supabase for account authentication and session management.
You may be able to sign in using:
- Email and password
- Google Sign In
- Sign in with Apple
Authentication providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
Social Features
If you use Odakla's social features, some information may be visible to other authenticated users or your friends. This can include:
- Odakla ID
- Display name
- Focus status
- Focus session duration
- Selected focus area
- Weekly or monthly focus activity
- Co-op session status
This information is used to provide friends, rooms, leaderboards, presence, and co-op functionality.
Advertising
Odakla uses Google AdMob to provide banner and rewarded advertisements.
Google may process device, advertising, consent, and related information according to Google's own policies.
Where required, Odakla uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request advertising consent.
Focus Data and Statistics
Odakla processes information about your focus activity to provide features such as:
- Daily and weekly statistics
- Streaks
- Focus history
- Progress tracking
- Leaderboards and social statistics
Some statistics are stored only on your device. Information required for social features may also be stored through Supabase.
Notifications and Live Activities
Odakla uses local notifications to provide timer alerts, reminders, and focus-session updates.
On supported iOS devices, Odakla may also display Live Activities related to active focus sessions.
Odakla does not currently collect or upload Expo remote push notification tokens for these features.
Account Deletion
You can request account deletion from within Odakla.
When account deletion is successfully completed:
- Your Odakla account is deleted from our backend.
- Associated server-side account data is removed according to the application's database relationships and retention requirements.
- Odakla-related local application data stored on your device is cleared.
Signing out without deleting your account does not delete your locally stored app data.
Third-Party Services
Odakla currently uses services that may process information on our behalf, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and realtime services
- Google — Google Sign In and AdMob advertising
- Apple — Sign in with Apple
- Expo — application infrastructure and device functionality
- Mixkit — selected alarm audio content
These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain account information only for as long as necessary to operate Odakla, provide requested features, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service.
You may delete your account from within the application.
Local application information remains on your device until it is deleted by the application, account deletion process, app data removal, or uninstalling the app.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by Odakla. However, no online service or electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Odakla is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. If you believe personal information belonging to a child has been provided improperly, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Odakla's features, services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be made available on this page with an updated effective date.
